Hi, My webcam has recently stopped working. I have gone through help with both microsoft and hp and still no solution has been found. I have tried checking my camera button, the camera privacy settings. all updates are up to date. i have also reinstalled windows 11 repair edition. I have also tried updating the driver, uninstalling and reinstalling and installing one that the hp help person provided and still nothing has worked. I even uninstalled any 3rd party antivirus. Error code is 0xA00F4244 camera not attatched

If the driver update does not work then you need to find a windows restore point from the time the webcam was working and restore your system to that time and date.

 

If there are no windows restore points then your quick fix is to do a factory restore from the cloud.

Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.
