  • My hp laptop 15-db1069au webcam is not working even when it's showing "this device is working properly" in property menu of webcam, i have tried to reinstall drivers and troubleshooting also but it won't help. Also when i open camera app the light indicator on webcamera i blinking.

Meanwhile, you can try these steps:

 

  • Check if any other apps are using the webcam and close them.
  • Ensure Windows updates are up to date.
  • Try disabling and re-enabling the webcam in Device Manager.
  • Run System File Checker (sfc/scannow) to repair system files.
  • Check privacy settings to ensure apps have permission to use the camera.
  • Update the chipset drivers on your laptop.
  • Check for any BIOS updates for your laptop model.
