I've purchased a Chromebook 6 months ago and the webcam has never worked. I have finally manged to look at the problem but i'm stuck.

I have tried everything apart from going back to restoring factory settings, can someone please help?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

 

I see that you are facing Web Camera issues with your HP Chromebook.

 

Please follow the steps listed below:

  1. Turn off your Chromebook, then turn it back on.
  2. Try to use the camera in another app, like Google Meet. If it works in that app, uninstall the app where it doesn't work, then reinstall the app.
  3. Reset your Chromebook.
  4. Recover your Chromebook.
