What CPU's fit the HP Pavilion 690 VR Ready Gaming Desktop Computer/AMD Ryzen 5 2400G Quad-Core Up?  What is the motherboard/socket for this PC?

What's the product number of your PC?

 

You can find the product number by running the Windows system information app.

 

The product number will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.

 

I would not expect that your PC will be able to go beyond the AMD Ryzen7-2700.
