I would like to know which active stylus is compatible with my HP Envy Notebook 15-as133c product # X6V56UA#ABA? I want to purchase the one that is compatible with my particular model of laptop. I would appreciate any help or suggestions that are offered and want to thank you in advance!

I was not able to locate the model of my laptop to the correct stylus that it is compatible with on the site you sent the link for. I am much more confused now than before. I know the the blackweb active stylus works with my laptop. So which one works that is for my specific HP laptop?

That seems a little strange that the laptop would support Synaptics,Wacom and MS protocol. Strange things do happen with the stylus listings at HP ...

I requested an internal check and just received report back. This Envy model is not compatible with any active pen/stylus. The marketing pdf is incorrect and is scheduled to be modified.
Thanks for your part in helping catch this print error. i imagine it is pretty difficult for HP to keep every detail correct in documents when having thousands of models.

Hello CherylG,
Thanks for the update and correction.:smileyhappy:
I'll make sure to take the HP documents with a pinch of salt.
All the best,
Eddy

Ok so once again is the a stylus that will work with my Envy Notebook at all? Active, Passive, anything at all. i want to start writing notes and drawing on my laptop with any finepoint stylus that will work with mine! Please help instead of giving me the runaround or saying there is not one that is compatible because I know of 2 that are but they break easily and are too much money for the length they lasted.

According to HP documentation there is no digitizer in your screen to work with one of HP's Active Stylus. You should be able to use any passive stylus.A passive stylus (also known as capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen. Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touch screen device.

You have the envy notebook? Is that a convertible sceen model with the i7 core? They are capacitive screens from what I understand. So they should work with any capacitive sylus. I'm also looking for a precise stylus. Did you ever find one to recommend or were you using a stylus for something not requiring precision?
