HP 250 G10 8A538EA i5-1335U 8 GB 512 GB SSD 15.6 Free Dos FHD

Hello,

According to HP https://support.hp.com/tr-tr/document/ish_7751519-7751693-16

There are 4 options for HP 250 G10 series as,

39.6 cm (15.6 in) diagonal, FHD, UWVA, eDP with PSR, antiglare, Low Blue Light, narrow bezel, bent, 300 nits, 100% sRGB (1920 x 1080)

39.6 cm (15.6 in) diagonal, FHD, UWVA, eDP, antiglare, narrow bezel, bent, 250 nits, 45% NTSC (1920 x 1080)

39.6 cm (15.6 in) diagonal, FHD, SVA, eDP, antiglare, narrow bezel, bent, 250 nits, 45% NTSC (1920 x 1080)

39.6 cm (15.6 in) diagonal, HD, SVA, eDP, antiglare, narrow bezel, bent, 250 nits, 45% NTSC (1366 x 768)

https://www.hp.com/tr-tr/products/laptops/product-details/product-specifications/2101877553

(It says the panel is 250 Nits - FHD but there is no info about the panel type)

Probably it is 250 nits UWVA or FHD SVA but I have to be sure for purchasing . Is S/N essential to know panel type? Thanks for helping...

Kind Regards.

You're very welcome.

From what I understand SVA stands for super vertical alignment and is supposed to provide better image quality when viewing the screen from the side, above, below or in very sunny or bright conditions.

I doubt that it is as high quality as IPS, which isn't even offered as an option in the model series.

Please bear in mind that the 250 G10 is a budget-priced entry level HP business class notebook and will not have top of the line features/options that are offered in the more expensive HP Probook and Elitebook models.

For what it is worth, I have the older 255 G7 model (models that end in 5 are AMD), and it has the lowest level display...the 39.6 cm (15.6 in) diagonal, HD, SVA, eDP, antiglare, narrow bezel, bent, 250 nits, 45% NTSC (1366 x 768).

The only thing I don't like about the display is the 1366 x 768 max resolution.

With the i5-1335U processor, and a 512 GB NVMe SSD, it should perform pretty well.

I would suggest installing another 8 GB memory chip in the empty slot though.

8 GB of memory isn't enough nowadays.

I see the notebook comes with the Realtek 8852BE Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 WLAN adapter.

If you decide to buy the notebook, make sure you update the Realtek Wi-Fi driver to the latest version HP has for it.

6001.15.152.0

I doubt the HP factory image has this newer driver installed.

Hi:

The parts list for the 250 G10 product number you posted indicates it comes with the 15.6 FHD AG SVA 250 display panel.

I believe the 'AG' is the anti-glare abbreviation.

Thanks for the answer. Alright, is SVA kind of TN? I wonder whether it is easy on the eyes and whether it is as high quality as ips. Do you have information?

I appreciate your superior knowledge. Based on your experience, I think the SVA panel and FHD duo will be good. I will take into consideration what you said. Thank you very much sir. Take care yourself. See you later. 🙂
