Hi there everyone.
Since the HP page is down with error 404 there is no reliable information online which pens are compatitible with the HP Spectre x360 13-4105ng - or even whether or not active pens will work at all.
I have seen people on youtube use active pens on this model, but it would help to know which pens are compatible.
My touchscreen works fine with passive pens / fingers, but two active stylus pens I tried did not work out, so please, ccan you put that page up again or direct me to a list of compatible pens?
Thx!

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04807803, there are no mentions of Active Pen or Stylus for this Model
But you can sue a Passive stylus. A passive stylus is a pen that acts just like a finger when touching a device screen. There is no communication between a passive stylus and a device.
Thank you

Thanks for the answer, @KrazyToad
In this video I believe an active pen is used with the 13-4105ng: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3Cn8IAxsoI
In several videos people are mentioning explicitly that HP apparently integrated the feature of Active Pen use in some models without mentioning it. Can you confirm this?
Why is the page with the compatibility lists down in the first place? The model is barely four years old and there is literally no more detailed information about one of it's key features online. A simple bullet point with "Digitizer fit for Active Stylus use: Yes / No" would completely suffice....

I finally found a random site myself that is - unlike the actual manufacturer HP - able to provide a detailed list of specifications.
Follow the link
Trustworthy or not, it is stated in the tab "specs" that the 13-4105ng's display is capacitive and will NOT support active pen use. Thanks for nothing HP: It is simply ridiculous that customers have to rely on 3rd party information because HP isn't able or willing to keep detailed first hand information available online or even put it in documents for their own service personnel.

Thanks for keeping me posted
Yes as mentioned in the previous Post your Notebook only supports Passive Pen and not Active Pen or Stylus
If no Stylus or Active Pen is mentioned in the Service Guides of any products means they don't support those features
Every Touchscreen supports passive Pen by defaults.
Thank you
