To get the answer to this question, only HP Chromebook x360 11G1 is a compatible unit.

To get the answer to this question, Yes! this HP Chromebook x360 11G1 goes with Capacitive touch gestures, touchscreens can only be touched with a finger, and will not respond to touches with a regular stylus, A passive stylus (also known as a capacitive stylus) functions the same as your finger on the screen. Passive styluses do not require batteries, and they work on any touchscreen device. While the non-HP branded passive stylus is not supported by HP, most will work with HP touchscreen computers and tablets.

To get the answer to this question, The active stylus will not work on this HPChromebook 14-da0011dx 2 in 1 touchscreen notebook. A capacitive stylus functions the same as your finger on the screen.
