Whenever I am typing, random letters and numbers pop up instead of the words I am typing. Sometimes, it even erases what I have written only to replace it with the random letters and symbols. I have changed the keyboard settings to “US” and performed a hard reset. Any other suggestions before I chuck this thing in the trash?

I understand that while typing you are getting random letters.
Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.
