Hi together!
I bought resently a HP Elitebook 840 G6 and must notice, that the Keyboard doesn't fit!
It is basically a QWERTZ, but there is no "ü" on it.
In stead of the "ü" there is a "A-ring"! So it is not a german layout, which I need.
Now how can I check which layout exactly this is? The "@" is under the "2" and the words on the function keys like "strg" are in english, like "ctrl".
"ö" and "ä" are here, but as mentioned above no "ü".
Does anyone here now, if this is to be changed? What are the estimated costs therefore?
I definitely don't to have stickers...
THX, Aaron W.

HP Elitebook 840 G6 is a series of dozens of different models/products. Normally models/products sold in a country should have keyboard for that country or region.
There is a list of keyboards on page 45 of the Maintenance and Service Guide of the series
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06358101.pdf
You can buy a keyboard (if available) for your need using part # on the list. The Guide also shows you how to replace yourself.
Regards.
