Envy Laptop 13-ba0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Would anyone know which Thunderbolt dock would be compatible with my Envy Laptop 13-ba0xxx device please?

I need to breakout to HDMi, and network connectivity ideally - the two USB's on the laptop are sufficient for other peripherals.

I've seen HP docks compatible with ZBook and Elite laptops, but not my Envy alas...

Thanks!

@Bajabouncer

What is your Envy Laptop 13-ba0xxx ? For example

        HP ENVY Laptop - 13-ba0085nr

 Assuming your machine does have

  • same 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge) port,
  • same 65 W Smart AC power adapter

You can use USB-C Gen 5 ((5TW10AA#...) dock to get single cable solution - fully tested on my HP Envy x360 15-ee0047nr machine.

Regards.

Thank you BH for your reply and information!

My apologies for not replying sooner - classic newbie, gets confused, writes post, promptly forgets he's written it.

It weirdly just states:

Envy Laptop 13-ba0xxx

LAPTOP-Q8I0293C

It has headphones, USB, and thunderbolt one side and power socket USB charger port, and SD the other.

but no display port.

Its a great little touch screen 13" laptop - just could use a means of getting ethernet and HDMi from it!

Many thanks again

All the best
