Hi @Manish0308,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

The white edges around the corners of your HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0045au screen after waking it from sleep mode could be caused by a few different factors:

Possible Reasons for White Edges:

Display Glitch: Sometimes, a temporary display glitch can occur when the laptop wakes from sleep mode, causing visual artifacts like white edges. Restarting the laptop can resolve this.

Overheating: If your laptop was placed in an area with poor ventilation while in sleep mode, it may have experienced some overheating, which can temporarily affect the display. Ensure the laptop has proper ventilation, and check if the issue persists after cooling down.

Graphics Driver Issue: Outdated or corrupted graphics drivers can cause display issues after the laptop wakes from sleep.

Ensure your graphics drivers (AMD or integrated) are up-to-date. You can update them through Device Manager or by visiting the HP Support or AMD website for the latest drivers.

Perform Troubleshoot:

  1. Restart the Laptop: A simple restart may clear the display glitch.
  2. Update Graphics Drivers: Update the graphics driver via Device Manager or download the latest version from HP or AMD.
  3. Check for Windows Updates: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for any pending updates, which may include fixes for display issues.

If the issue continues after trying these steps, it might indicate a hardware issue with the display, and you may need to contact HP phone support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
