White Spot on Laptop display

Hi,

I am noticing a white spot on my HP laptop screen. It was appearing all of a sudden. Also the laptop is covered under the warrenty. Can someone help on this issue.

Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?

Were there any physical damages to the screen?

Have you tried checking with an external monitor does the issue persist?

It certainly looks like a hardware issue with the display.
