pavilion x360 convertible 14m-dh1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an hp pavilion x360 convertible 14m-dh1xxx running Windows 10 64 bit. Every time I load a YouTube video it starts and stops for some reason. I already updated all of my drivers. It is possible my internet is bad since I use Spectrum, but unlikely since I just had a technician solve that problem a week ago, and other than that no other programs are being used on my computer that would conflict with Chrome, which I'm using v. 78.0.3904.108 of, and no extensions are causing any interference as all I have is ad block and YouTube Auto HD. Is something wrong on the websites end?

Edit: This only seems to happen when the machine is connected through HDMI.

That is not a clearly understandable statement.  Do you mean you have connected an external display to the notebook?

Have you tried a different browser?

Well obviously that shouldn't happen since you didn't give me any solution, only a workaround. I don't want two browsers. My apologies for confusing you even more than you already were.

Besides the forum has been moved since I didn't realize I could unaccept an answer as a solution. Here's the link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/Why-don-t-YouTube-videos-work/m-p/735...
