Product: Pavilion
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion Laptop. I also have an HP proDisplay P202 Monitor. I tried to connect the VGA cable from the monitor to the laptop using a USB 3.0 connection. It doesn't work. Why?

Are you sure you get a right cable ? What is your HP Pavilion machine ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
