HP Pavilion - 15-cs3073cl

I am running Debian 12 as my OS and I am considering purchasing a USB-C to DVI adapter, however, the requirement is that the USB Type-C slot support the USB Type-C Alt Mode. Here is the compatibility list that was provided for HP: Spectre X360 15/13、ENVY 13/15/17/X360、 EliteBook X360/1030/1040/1050 G1/ Elite Dragonfly、Pavilion X360 15'、Chromebook X360、Victus 15.6' Gaming Laptop. Can you please verify if the USB Type-C slot supports the USB Type-C Alt Mode? Thank you in advance.

P.S. This is the adapter I am considering, https://www.amazon.com/Thunderbolt-Adapter-Converter-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B0768RFQ83/ref=sr_1_6?hva...

P.P.S. I was previously running Windows 10 and I was using the J5Create USB-C Triple Display Docking station with no issue, but the docking station will not work with any Linux distribution. Is there a solution so that I can have more than one external monitor display?

@ABCUser10

Its specs

     https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06447667

It ONLY has 1 hopeless USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

@Banhien Is there a reason my J5Create USB-C Triple Display Docking station worked without issue when I was running Windows, and now it won't work with Linux?
