Almost everytime i go into windows login and the pin options appears, i touch the field and for a brief moment the virtual pin pad appears and then disappears.  I select the field again and same thing, pin pad appears and then disappears.  Until i do this 4-6 times, it wont stay on.

 

After doing a few google searches, i have noticed a lot of people are experiencing the same issue with their Spectre running windows 10.

 

I'm hoping this is a common problem and HP is already aware of it and has a solution.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

 

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any changes on the computer?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you to follow below steps and check.

 

Choose Settings at the bottom. Choose Change PC Settings. Go to Accounts. Go to Sign In Options. Remove your PIN and then re-add it. If removing and re-adding does not work, try to "Change" it instead.

It started the day I put on a pin for my login.  As you search online, you will discover many spectre users have the same issue. Here is one example:

Yes i tried to remove and change the pin and it did not resolve the issue.
