My replacement screen (I cracked the original one) for my Envy x360 15m-0023dx laptop touch screen does not work. The new work is a touch screen enabled. Otherwise, the screen works great.
Upon startup - esc - F2 - when I tried to perform a hardware test | Component Tests | I did not have a Touch Screen option.
Under Human Interface Devices list in Device Manage I do not have a HID-complaint touch screen option.
When I view pen and touch info it does recognize any devices. I've gone through all options from the following site:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03488148
Any suggestions on how I get the touch screen working again is appreciated.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchscreen is not working after replacing the display.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
Have you got the display replaced by HP?
I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
