Microsoft Windows 11

Update to windows 11 from 10 is calling for older Intel UHD graphics driver version 26 which is causing screen flicker etc. Correct version for this driver from Intel is version 31. Unfortunately windows keeps unistalling new version and reloading version 26.

Hi:

 

Install the working driver and then run the Microsoft Hide Windows Update utility that I zipped up and attached below.

 

The utility will run and it should find the offending Intel Graphics driver update ready to install.

 

Check the box to hide the update.

 

The utility will run again and report the problem is 'Fixed.'

 

Restart the PC and the Intel graphics driver from Windows update should not try to install again.
