@Viraj_ph, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding laptop stuck in tablet mode!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it must be to have your HP Pavilion x360 stuck in tablet mode even after trying several fixes. Let's work through this together and see if we can get things back to normal.

Disable Tablet Mode from Settings:

  1. Open Settings (Windows + I).
  2. Go to System > Display > Tablet (or System > Tablet mode on older versions).
  3. Set the option to "Don't switch to tablet mode" or select "Use desktop mode" when prompted.

Restart Windows Explorer:

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  2. Find Windows Explorer in the list.
  3. Right-click and select Restart.

Update or Roll Back Drivers:

  • Go to Device Manager (Windows + X > Device Manager).
  • Expand Sensors or Human Interface Devices (if available).
  • Right-click the drivers related to motion or orientation (like Intel Integrated Sensor Solution) and select Update driver.
  • If updating doesn’t help, try rolling it back by selecting Properties > Driver > Roll Back Driver.

Perform a Power Reset:

  1. Turn off your laptop.
  2. Disconnect all external devices and unplug the charger.
  3. Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  4. Turn the laptop back on and check if the issue persists.

A couple of quick questions to help narrow it down:

  • Did this issue start after a specific Windows update or software installation?
  • When you open the Action Center (Windows + A), does the tablet mode button appear active, and are you able to toggle it off?

Let me know how it goes — we’ll figure this out together! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
