HP ZBook Studio 16 inch G11 Mobile Workstation PC IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

My company bought my team 4 the same notebooks Zbook Studio G11 with below serial numbers:

5CG5020408
5CG5020407
5CG5020406
5CG5020405

I have 5CG5020407 and only mine computer is not rotating the screen automatically. It was provisioned by IT team 3 times, each time in the same way as colleagues laptops. All of us have the same version of Windows 11 23H2, but in my case Windows is not able to detect sensors - autorotation function is disabled.

I've checked with SensorExplorer app and the data from sensors are visible.

I really appreciate any idea.

Hello, you can try to go to device manager and try updating display adapters and sensors (if it still doesnt work download it and run it on file explorer)

Website: HP Customer Support for Printers, Laptops, Desktops and More | HP® Support

Step 1:  Press Let HP Detect Your Product (if that doesnt work, put your product id in the box)
Step 2: After that, Click Software And Drivers and Choose Your Software And Version of it.

Step 3: Find the drivers for it (Touch and graphics drivers)

Step 4: Run the files that you downloaded (Make sure you check that its the correct model type)

Step5: Restart your computer

Thats it, let me know if it works or not.

If that doesnt work, try updating the bios

Hello,

You can try reinstalling windows (make sure you backed up your data):https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f...

If that doesnt work: (if every step does not work)

If you still have warranty or no warranty, you can try contacting HP Support Number or Chat Them on Whatsapp: https://www.hp.com/my-en/shop/contact-us

If that doesnt work:

Set the bios to default settings https://youtu.be/6woHPW-GB-E?si=vrqYMssiu2Lh1b8Y

Hey, did it help??

Hello,

Windows was already reinstalled 3 times.

I also tried to restore default setting, but issue still exists.

Regarding with HP Support, i already contact by Chat. I've described the issue, the case was created and nobody has replied...After a weekend i noticed an e-mail that the case is closed...

Moreover when i tried to create account in myHPSupport portal for bussiness (it is company laptop) i can't finish reqistration, because the intake form is not working correctly (fields are disabled and i cannot provide info).

 Perfect support...
