Hello,
I recently bought HP Envy, Benq monitor, Dlink (DUBV120) USB-C to HDMI Adaptor to connect monitor to laptop.
I have followed a similar thread of discussion where another person's display did not work. However, in my case, display on my monitor is working perfectly, however, I keep getting a Windows notification (every second) that 'USB device not recognised'.
So what is the problem here?
Please advice
Thanks

Looks like tey are NOT compatible. 13-ba1000 is a generic model therefore I use the following model which has SAME ports as your machine

I can confirm HP USB-C Gen 5 works perfectly for your machine.
Regards.

Hi
Thanks for your prompt reply. If it is not compatible then how come the display still works perfectly well eventhough windows doesn't recognise the USB device?
Also what is HP USB-C Gen 5 ....Is it another type of adaptor?
