Hello,

 

I bought a15-cw-1500nd hp laptop. Where i was reading that windows hello should be available.

However what i try to install there is no driver that supports windows hello. 

On the driver site there is a downloadable ir camera driver available.

As the photo's show below

1. the error adding windows hello

2. Picture of driver available

3. No hello driver in device management

4. Hp wide vision camera available

5. Driver date of wide vision camera is 2006.

 

Hope that you can help me out getting a working windows Hello.

@sophievb I'm afraid your device does not have an IR camera function and without that the windows hello wouldn't work: Click here to view the datasheet of your device, if it had IR, the same would have been mentioned here, you can also verify the product specifications by clicking here

NOTE: 

If you have never set up Windows Hello Face Recognition and the option to set up the feature does not display in Settings, make sure your PC has an IR camera. The option to set up Face Recognition does not display if the PC does not have an IR camera.

Hallo,

 

dank u voor uw antwoord.

IK had deze informatie gevonden op de website van coolblue.

 https://www.coolblue.nl/product/830622/hp-pavilion-15-cw1500nd.html 

 

vandaar dat ik deze laptop aangeschaft heb. Echter als deze laptop deze functionaliteit niet ondersteund hoef ik niet verder te onderzoeken waarom ea niet werkt.
