X360 convertible display issue

The display flashes multiple colors, flashes and I can’t do anything - I can’t do anything because I can’t see the icons. Etc

Try if this happens with external monitor too and in the BIOS:

Tapping the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen is supposed to get you to the menu of options. Then select the F10 option to access the BIOS.
