Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had my Pavilion X360 for over 6 months and until the last 3 months, the screen shows yellow spots around the edge of the screen and then it disappears randomly over time. After that, i put it in my bagpack then i take it out and reopen the laptop, the yellowish spots still appear again, i tried caring it around with my hand and still the same thing happens. Moreover, lastmonth  the low right hand corner has a permanent discoloration and around the screen. In addition, i never dropped or hit the laptop and does the damage/discoloration include in the warrenty? WhatsApp Image 2019-05-12 at 11.38.52 PM.jpegWhatsApp Image 2019-05-12 at 11.38.53 PM.jpegWhatsApp Image 2019-05-12 at 11.38.53 PM (1).jpegWhatsApp Image 2019-05-12 at 11.38.54 PM.jpeg

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Have you checked the display on an external monitor or TV?
  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Boot the computer into the Bios screen and check if the screen quality:

1. Turn off your computer
2. Make sure you have connected the power cable
3. Turn on your notebook, as it is starting press the  F10 button repeatedly and check the display quality in bios environment.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
