I use to be able to connect my vga or hdmi cable to my laptop and my tv and it would display 4 options on the right hand side eithier second screen only,extend, duplicate or this pc .Now those options are gone and all i see is "Your Pc cant project to another screen. try reinstaling the driver or using diffrent video card. " please help dont know why this happened i used SDI a driver instaler to update drivers . ever since then i couldnt project to another screen. current driver under Display Adapters in the device manager is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series. Looked every where been like this for a week. just want to be able to use my vga or hdmi cord again:(

Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to project the computer screen on to your TV.
Don’t worry, we will work together to resolve this issue and It’s a pleasure to assist you in this regard.
I would like to know whether you have done any software/hardware changes on the computer?
Meanwhile, I recommend you to follow the uninstall the graphics driver from device manager and install it from the below link. Also, update the bios.
Here is how it is done.
Uninstall:
- Start Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click Device Manager.
- Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.
- On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.
- When the uninstall process is complete, remove the device.
NOTE: On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the Delete the driver software for this device option to delete the driver package that was used for the device.
Install:
