Product: Zbook Firefly 14 G10
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hoping @banhien sees this post since it seems he is knowledgeable about this topic

 

I have a Zbook Firefly 14 G10 and need to connect two monitors, ethernet, and a USB-A smart card reader.  I have a HP Elite USB-C (TPA-B01) docking station that has all of the required ports but when I connect it to the USB-C port on the laptop it continuously beeps, and I assume that is because it is not being detected.

Questions:

1- Are these devices compatible? (I saw a bulletin about this docking station not being compatible but this particular laptop was not listed)

2 - If not, will a USB-C female to USB-A male adapter work? Read the specs for these adapters and it says visuals and monitors are not supported)

3 - Is my only solution to get one of the following dockers?

           - HP Thunderbolt 120W G4 Dock

           - HP USB-C Dock G5

           - HP USB-C/A Universal Dock G2
