pavillion g6 notebook pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good morning, today I've noticed that my pc recognizes only my intel 4000 grahic card, but not my amd radeon hd 7600m. I've also tried to start Catalyst Control Center, but it doesn't open, notifing that is impossible to be opened. I've noticed this issue when I tried switching gpu, for better performance, but the pc showed only intel graphics as option. I hope you could find a solution, thanks for your disponsability

My product name is "Notebook HP Pavillion G6-2333el", and my product number is "D5P44EA#ABZ".

I'm having problems updating my gpu drivers. Because every time I do it my screen crashes, turns black, and after a few seconds it gives me a BSOD message saying "TDR VIDEO FAILURE atikmpag.sys error". I tried it with both windows 8.1 and windows 10, but none of them worked. And i've already tried renaming the file system atikmpag.sys in atikmpag.sys.old, and extending atikmpag.sy_, but i can't find this last file. Thanks for your answer, and i hope you could solve this problem

@oHIROo

Thank you for the update.

Since you've already attempted to reinstall drivers and download the catalyst center multiple times,

I'll get straight to the point:

Go to C:windows/drivers/atikmpag.sys and just deleted the (.sys) file.

Once done, restart the computer and download the latest drivers for your computer: Click here

You may also try this if you aren't satisfied with the results: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

Run a hardware test on the graphics card using the diagnostics tool to ensure this isn't a hardware issue: Click here

Have a nice day!!
