Now that I actually have to use my front-facing camera for school, I have discovered that it is extremely blurry and the image also looks like it has debris on it. I have already tried cleaning the lens and performing a factory reset. Any advice?

@gothbrooks It could be frustrating when the camera goes blurry when you need it, that said, I have a few steps to help resolve the issue, here's what we should start with:

Check your Internet connection. A poor Internet connection can result in a blurry or lagging image in video chat. If you are using a wireless connection, switching over to an Ethernet connection -- plugging directly into the router -- can improve your video quality as well.

Update your video drivers. Out-of-date video drivers can pose problems for webcams, If your webcam requires its own driver software, check the HP website for any updates.

Hang up and start a new call if you are using video chat. While this may seem like an overly simple fix, many VoIP and video chat issues can be solved simply by establishing a new connection. If only one of your contacts is complaining about your video quality, it may be that the problem lies with their connection, not with yours.
