bright white spot on screen on HP Pavilion - 15-au183sa

I recently noticed a bright white spot on the top right side of the screen, it is only noticeable when there is a light coloured background on, it isn't noticeable on black as far as I've seen.

I've looked it up and have noticed people with similar issues but I cant understand what I could possibly to fix it, or it is a display fault.

I received the laptop as a present years ago so it isn't under any warranty. 

If anyone could help me that would be amazing as I cannot get through to HP directly.

I suggest you check in BIOS and let me know if you see the white spot

Shut down the Notebook and upon restarting keep tapping on F10 till you see the System Configuration Menu ( BIOS )
