hi there,

        i am having a brightness problem (increasing and decreasing) in hp 15 ac122tu notebook (os windows 10 64 bit).i tried windows 7,8.1.All these having the same issue.updated the drivers and installed hp support application etc. i contacted the nearest service centre and they dont know the problem.The issue comes only in using battery,while charging its ok. all are saying that os issue and i changed the battery too.The same issue comes in all os. I purchased the DOS model.please help me to solve the brightness issue.........

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to turn off the adaptive brightness setting in the power options menu.
