HP ENVY Laptop PC 17t-cg100 CTO

My 1 year warranty expired a few months ago on my HP Envy Laptop (CPC 17t-cg 100 CTO). If I buy a second year of coverage will HP fix my broken screen hinge and broken touch screen? The screen hinge has broken or separated and the buckled the one corner of the screen (from normal ware). With an external monitor and the laptop screen turned off the computer still works. But without an external monitor, the computer cannot be used because the damage effects the touchscreen function immobilizing the screens use. I understand that the notebook hinge is broken, I am glad to assist you.

This seems to be a hardware issue and requires one on one interaction to fix the issue.
