broken hinge for screen display

After 3 years of ownership the hinge on the right side of the screen display has disintegrated and the screws have fallen out upon trying to close the laptop. The screen is separating from the plastic housing holding it together. I cannot even close the **bleep** machine. What holy hell is this kind of product? HP- I will never EVER buy another HP product if this is the kind of quality you manufacture. This laptop was babied from the moment I got it home.
