Hi @komal1982

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern regarding the built‑in camera not working. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Before we move forward, could you let me know if you have already tried any troubleshooting steps on your side?

It would also help if you could provide the exact HP product details (model name or product number) and mention whether you see any error messages or if the camera is missing from Device Manager.

This information will allow us to better understand the situation and guide you with precise HP‑recommended steps.

Would you be able to share those details?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

While we wait for the product details and any error information, here are some basic checks you can try in the meantime:

  • Confirm the camera is enabled in Device Manager under “Imaging devices.”
  • Check the Privacy settings in Windows to ensure camera access is allowed for apps.
  • Restart the system and test the camera in the HP App or the default Camera application.
  • If available, run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) to verify the camera hardware.

These are general steps that often help identify whether the issue is related to settings or hardware. Would you be able to provide those details?

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
