Hi @sohit1239000,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Notebook 15s-fr1002tu camera is not being detected on Windows 11, here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check Camera Privacy Settings
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Ensure that camera access is turned on for all apps.
- Check that the specific app you're trying to use has permission to access the camera.
2. Check Device Manager
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Scroll down to Cameras or Imaging devices and expand it.
- If your camera is listed, right-click on it and choose Enable device (if it is disabled).
- If the camera is not listed, look under Other Devices for anything marked with a yellow warning triangle or labeled as "Unknown device." If you find it, try updating the driver (see step 3).
3. Update Camera Drivers
- In Device Manager, right-click on your camera and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Alternatively, visit the HP support website to download and install the latest drivers for your notebook's camera model.
4. Reinstall Camera Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click on the camera and select Uninstall device.
- After the driver is uninstalled, reboot your computer.
- Windows should automatically reinstall the correct driver when it starts.
5. Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Windows Update and click Check for updates.
- Install any available updates, including optional updates that may include drivers.
6. Check for Antivirus or Software Blocking
- Ensure that your antivirus or other third-party security software is not blocking camera access.
- Try temporarily disabling the antivirus software to see if it resolves the issue.
7. Run the Windows Camera Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
- Find Camera in the list and run the troubleshooter.
8. Reset the Camera App
- If you're using the Camera app, reset it by going to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
- Find the Camera app, click on it, and select Advanced options.
- Click on Reset.
9. BIOS Settings
- Sometimes the camera can be disabled from the BIOS. Restart your notebook and enter the BIOS (usually by pressing F10, F2, or Esc during boot).
- Check if the camera is enabled in the System Configuration or similar section.
