I am a photographer and will using this monitor strictly for editing high resolution photo's. Previous experience taught me all monitors will drift from their OEM calibrations. The literature says the color existing color profiles are "inside" don't need to be changed. I' certain they will at some point.
Thank you for any help in advance, I appreciate members spending precious time time trying to help others.

Hi @invysable_man.
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Yes, HP U28 4K HDR monitors can typically be recalibrated to factory specifications, and custom color profiles can be created. While monitors may drift from their original calibrations over time, recalibrating them can help maintain color accuracy for your photo editing work.
To recalibrate your monitor, you'll likely need a calibration device such as a colorimeter or spectrophotometer, along with calibration software. These tools will help you measure and adjust the monitor's settings to achieve the desired color accuracy.
You can start by using the built-in color profiles, but if you find that they no longer meet your needs or if you want to fine-tune the colors to your preferences, you can create custom color profiles using calibration software. This will involve going through a calibration process where the software will guide you through adjusting various settings on your monitor until you achieve the desired color accuracy.
It's recommended to recalibrate your monitor periodically to ensure consistent color accuracy, especially for professional photo editing work. Depending on your usage and environmental factors, you may need to recalibrate more or less frequently.
Overall, with the right tools and software, you should be able to maintain accurate colors on your HP U28 monitor for your photography work.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Alden4, Thank you for your information and your reply. I have the monitor and it is installed with a firmware update. I thought there were .icm and a .inf files available but am unable to find them. Do you have any information regarding this. I did several searches on the HP Support, as well as a general web search and found nothing.
Regards, Robert Williamson
