HP Pavilion Notebook 15 - ab249ne.
Can my laptop support 1080p 144hz monitor? My laptop only has HDMI port I cant use any other monitor ports like Display Port or DVI. so I was wondering if my HDMI version is 2.0 or 1.4.

Machine has HDMI version 1.4 port, supporting 1920 ×1200 @ 60Hz.
No, you can't get 144Hz for an external monitor. Normal rule: refresh rate goes up resolution will go down and vice versa.
Regards.
