Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

computer came new with windows 10   IT now has windows 8.1 on it   Windows 10 was taken off and windows 8.1 was put on it  by computer repair shop   Before I bought it at a pawn shop

can not adjust brightness

Hi:

 

If the brightness is stuck on maximum, you probably need to install the graphics driver.

 

The problem is that HP only supports that model for W10.

 

See if this W8.1 graphics driver works...
