i cant seem to find or activate the keyboard backight on my probook 450 G7

Most likely your PC is one of the many 450 G7's that don't come with a backlit keyboard.

 

A backlit keyboard is optional.

 

If your notebook has a backlit keyboard, the F4 key will have a keyboard icon with 'light rays' above the keyboard icon.

 

If you don't see anything like that, then your notebook does not come with a backlit keyboard.
