Hey, group, I've had the HP Envy for just right at 1 yr and have had clear or opaque balls that appear from out of the earphone jack, SD card slot, and USB plug-in. This did start shortly after I bought the machine, I became more concerned when I peered into my bag and there was a plethora of these oddities. The machine is working fine otherwise.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
One reasonable explanation -- which is still not actually acceptable :
A silica gel (moisture) pack was left inside the machine and the container that holds the tiny gel "balls" broke.
Normally, though, you would recognize this type of material -- these are pretty commonly used in packaging.
The tiny gel packs are not part of the normal operation or contents of your computer.
Were it mine to do, I'd open the case and look inside.
How to open the computer case is included in the service manual.
