All current gen (HT) Home theatres have 1 or More HDMI input ports.

Depending on your notebook model, Your PC may have an HDMI output port too.

Using an HDMI cable, you can connect the PC to the Home Theratre.

On your PC, press the windows Key and the letter P together to project to your home theatre.

Now, whatever you play on your PC will be played via the home theatre and the video will be routed via your HT to your TV.

Note: you may need to right click on the volume Icon on the bottom right side of the screen and select playback devices. After which you will see a list of available playback devices. From the list, select your TV/HT and set that a default from the right click menu.
