Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

Let me know if it is happening on a particular software. Also test it by going into safe mode and checking if it works there.

Meanwhile, If the brightness controls are not working on your Omen 15, here are a few things you can try:

Update Display Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager, right-click your graphics card under Display adapters, and select Update driver.
  • Or reinstall the driver by going In Device Manager, right-click your monitor under Monitors, uninstall it, and restart your laptop.
  • You can download the drivers from HP Support website or HP Support assistant.

Check Power Settings:

  • Go to Control Panel > Power Options and select Balanced or High Performance plan.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install updates.

Check HP Omen Command Center:

  • Open Omen Command Center and look for display or brightness settings.
