i set a photo for the lock screen on my laptop but it doesnt always load when i boot up, all i get is a blank screen with the time/date and calendar reminder of my next event. how do i get it to display the photo i chose all the time? is this a symptom of a bigger problem that is coming? is there anyone on here who is more helpful than the hp virtual assistant?

so i found out that the problem is not anything to do with HP but Windows. they have given me a solution that is go to personalization > > Lock screen >> Lock screen status and change the app setting to NONE, Also ensure that the Windows spotlight option is selected and "show the lock background" is ON.
i have followed the advice and selected my photo instead of the windows spotlight and so far so good.

Please use the following Guide
Change desktop background and colors
You can select Background (you called lock screen) photo from your library.

BH, Thank you for your reply. I do not have an issue with the background, that opens with the photo I saved for it. My problem is with the lock screen from the Personalise Display menu. I put a different photo on there before I put one on the background. it was working fine when I did it but the last 3 times I have booted up it doesnt display my photo just a black screen.
