HP Envy 17 laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have discovered that clicking on anything related to 'display' will cause my laptop to hang. In Settings and I click on display or if I click on Accessibility or go to edit a picture in Photos, Photo Gallery or Adobe Photoshop express, the computer freezes and I have to hard boot. The computer came loaded with NVIDIA GEforce graphics for gaming and it would appear that it it is interferring or blocking Intel's graphics display, at least that was the report from an Intel support scan. I've had the computer for almost three years and haven't had an issue like this and ithe problem only just started a month ago.  I have updated Intel and NVIDIA drivers and every other driver and have reset and/or deleted apps as part of my quest to get to the bottom of this. I have not deleted or reloaded Windows 10.

I haven't seen this issue in any forums so I need help please.
