Did you manage to make any progress with this?
I have issues with the same model, same docks. Everything updated.
If I have the Dock + laptop connected, then hold power on the dock for 10 seconds, and turn back on with the dock, everything works again. That is until it is next unplugged / replugged.
I think it's at the point of replugging the dock into the laptop as that's when the lights on the mouse go out. But the steps above resolve this temporarily.

Hi,
We have the same problem here : the dock works correctly with another HP laptop but not with the brand new out of the box 465 G11 (which is fully updated on both Windows OS and HP drivers).
Which firmware did you use and was there a specific procedure to downgrade the dock firmware ?
