I have a Omen HP laptop 17-cb0040nr laptop. Can I connect a USB-C docking station for a single cable connection that includes power and allows a 2nd monitor? HP G5 docking station or similar. What is the minimum wattage output of a docking station for this model?

Its specs

Its USB-C port does NOT support USB PD therefore no you can NOT use single cable to connect to a dock to make it work that way.
Regards.

Banhien, I find this confusing as the the specs for my laptop identity a thunderbolt port ( usbc) and the HP website suggests the G5 docking station for my model.
I want to connect 2 monitors, USB devices, with 1 cable to improve resolution to monitors above my old docking station. I don't mind a separate power cable. I have a targus dock190 a friend gave to me. Is it safe to plug into my laptop? What am I missing?
Thanks
