I have tried to find out if my laptop has a infra red camera (required for Windows Hello face sign in.
I have uninstalled the only Camera driver I could find in devices - HP Truevision HD Camera ( using the MS USB video device driver) but it is not finding an IR camera.
If it doesn't come with one then I won't be able to get it working but I cannot find an answer to that simple question.
Thanks for any help

On products equipped with a fingerprint reader or an infrared camera, you can use Windows Hello to sign in by swiping your finger or looking at the camera. To set up Windows Hello:
1. Select the Start button, select Settings, select Accounts, and then select Sign-in options.
2. To add a password, select Add.
3. Select Get Started, and then follow the on-screen instructions to enroll your fingerprint or facial ID and set up a PIN. IMPORTANT: To prevent fingerprint logon issues, make sure when you register your fingerprint that all sides of your finger are registered by the fingerprint reader. NOTE: The PIN is not limited in length. The default setting is for numbers only. To include alphabetic or special characters, select the include letters and symbols check box.
