This is very interesting, your computer seems to have multiple personality disorder.

Did this occur recently? Does it look normal when Windows loads? More info please.

If it happened after a BIOS update, try performing a BIOS recovery:

As for your question: it's only a problem if you perceive it to be a problem.

Nearly same issue with me, purchased new Probook 440 g5 Core i5 you can see in the image,

at first logo is ok working fine like normal and when it is near to starting it becomes like this for 10-15 seconds then windows login appears.

And sometimes laptop starts so fast even this double screen don't appears, it only appears when it takes time to start, do not know what is problem with all hp laptops they have same habit even one same laptop sometime start fast and some time takes time.

This appeared on default bios version and i updated to latest bios still same issue.

Note:  Windows 10 Pro 1803 with latest updates is installed using UEFI mode.

HP please fix this BIOS bug.

The same issue on g5 450.

It happens because of two HDD installed. Can be changed in Bios (Legacy Boot).

Solution found by devops of EffectiveSoft software development company.

I had the same problem with my probook 650 g4.

I enabled the secure boot and disabled the legacy boot after that it didnt show any image anymore.

I am not sure if this is a true sollution.
