how come we can't get 4x pcie lanes ? for EGPU on these elite book 850 g6 its got 16x pcie got no discreet gpu inside just pcie m2 hd and pcie wifi

its a freking joke.......

They have  1 Thunderbolt™ port which can be a good candidate for an eGPU.

you dont get what i mean..when i connect a egpu the first thing is because of this security change we cant even prboot

a egpu so we got to keep the latop open all the time or boot blind.how i wish i never updated the bios.and the second

thing is when we do eventually get to windows with the egpu working i find out i am limited to x2 pcie lanes.

i have a little intel Nuc wich cost me a third of what this elitebook cost and i can boot up on egpu plus i get the full  x4 pcie lanes

dont think i will be using HP FULLY LIMITED LAPTOPS AGAIN..........
