function keys of brightness are not working i also enabled the pnp monitor

Is the applicable graphics driver installed? 

Under the display adapters device manager category, there should be a model graphics adapter listed there.

If you see a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter listed there, then you need to install the graphics driver.

If you see an Intel HD graphics adapter listed there, then the graphics driver is installed.

The only suggestion I can offer if the Intel graphics adapter is present, would be to (re)install the HP Hotkey software...
